Folktale

According to Moon Handbooks: Dominican Republic:

"If your horse tires after going only a short distance, a ghost has been riding behind you. If you proceed, you will catch the illness which killed the ghost. Instead, stop and reverse the saddle, placing the pommel toward the tail of the horse" (p. 95).
