HELP!

I am tired and cranky and hungry and while I have been fairly diligent, have really accomplished a whole lot of NOTHING on my diss today.

aside: I *DID,* however, help mom lance a very gross abcess that has been festering on the ram's face. YUCK!

However, because I am tired and cranky and hungry I CANNOT remember a word I want. Since you are all bright, helpful people, I am turning it over to you. I am trying to explain how one author defines environmental ethics. His statement is as follows: "“environmental ethics applies ethics to the environment” -- there is a technical term for this type of logical fallacy where the definition simply restates the terms of the item to be redefined. But I CANNOT REMEMBER what it is called. Do any of you, perchance, remember? Help would be MUCH appreciated.

And supper is now ready. YAY!

So, we hadn't heard from my Grama since Sunday. She is 78, active and in fairly good health the usual litany of deterioration, but nothing lifethreatening as of yet. And she usually calls us everyday. So earlier today, Mom called her and left a message to call. She still had not called by 8PM tonight, so Mom called her again. Still no answer. Ok, um, we are officially worried.

So we dig up her landlord's number (gotta LOVE reverse lookups some of the time), call him, ask him to check on her. She is DOING HER LAUNDRY! And apparently laughing her ass off at us.... *grumble* but *phew.* Mom and I were both independently, without SAYING anything that might make it true envisioning her hurt or worse in her apartment. *sigh* Thankfully, she is fine. And she will mock us for days. Which is fine by me! I'm glad to have her around!
