THANK YOU! [livejournal.com profile] electricland

Your Christmas presents were thoughtful and amazing and brought tears to my eyes. Now, can you just arrange for me to have the rest of the week off work to read??

[livejournal.com profile] thassalia -- I can read Gypsy and the Moonstone Stallion Now. *SQUEE* *BACKFLIPS OF JOY*

[livejournal.com profile] dancinghorse -- Good thing I just re-read Mountain's Call, as I can now carry on with the enthralled time in another world (and oh my what a world it is!), as [livejournal.com profile] electricland takes GOOD notes. I started Song of Unmaking last night. *SQUEE* *more BACKFLIPS OF JOY* whoa. dizzy now from backflips!

ELL, honey, you are one of the best friends a girl can have - you listen to me when I am down, you share my joy, and you are THERE. {{{MASSIVE HUGS}}}

Yesterday was a dramatic horse day.

In the morning, Mom went out to let everybody out from the barn paddock/sacrifice area into the field with the round bale feeder, as normal. Everyone was wired. Then Juno disappeared, and the others would NOT go in the field.

Somehow, Juno had managed to get herself THROUGH or over the pipe fencing with a small, we thought two fence posts are wobbling which is probably WHY she could get through, and we'll fix it this weekend reasonably secure section of rope fencing, into the junky area by the surface well. The other horses would NOT leave her to go to the food in the field. Mom convinced Shaughns, Beau and JJ to go, but Joy was NOT leaving her sister. How cool is that? (These two girls have the same sire, and were born a week apart. Except for occasional shows/training expeditions etc. they have ALWAYS been together. Which is both good and bad. Today, we will focus on the good ;).

Mom fed Joy near her sister to distract her, and extracted Juno. Last night, I fixed the electrical fencing line in the sacrifice area and ran a temp two line electric fence extension to keep them away from the compromised fencing. JJ watched me work from her stall and READILY came out of her stall not always the case - she likes her 'room' ;) to check what I was working on :).
