i realized she was gone, and that the kitchen door was open. I found her in the laundry room. She looked up at me, and SMILED in the midst of ALL THESE SHEEPSKIN BITS. ALL OVER the floor.

When I calmly said "no" and reclaimed (what remained of) my slipper, she walked very purposefully into the mudroom, where the slipper's mate awaited. To her it was perfectly logical to go and get the other one to play with, now....

*eyeroll*

we went back to the family room, where Indy told mom all about her fun -- by BURPING. Sheepsking GOOD, she says.... :D.
