I have no hot water. The tank seems to have died. I started drawing a bath (which I was REALLY looking forward to), and it was half-drawn when I went to check on it. The water was ice cold.

*grumble*

My thoughts: "Oh ya, right. I was only getting warmish water earlier today. Meant to check that. Damn. Guess the hot water tank has died."

I have, on Dad's advice, flipped the appropriate breakers on and off, hoping that will solve the problem. I somehow doubt it. The tank is MANY years old. . . At least I can use the other bathroon to wash my face and stuff (I have my own tank for the suite I occupy) -- but no bath :(. *pout*

Ah yes. The chilly and not so relaxing start to the day. Now the question is - will it get better or has the tone been set?

Good luck.

This was last night. I remain convinced that today will be better. At least I could use Mom's tub -- HER hot water tank is working. However, now our well is recouping the way it normally does, so we are watching our water use even more carefully than normal....

Never a dull moment.
We have water that falls from the sky...
