kerlin!!

and others.

I haven't read it yet, but Mary Midkiff just sent this link to an Article by Deb Bennet on training young horses. I thought you may be interested.

Eta Sorry about the link issues - it was wrong in the email I received. Dr. Bennet also has other interesting looking articles in her knowledgebase: http://www.equinestudies.org/knowledge_base/kb_intro.html

Also K, what pages did you want me to scan? You never replied to my comment!

Ah, thank you! I'll check it out.

Sorry I didn't reply - I'm looking at the TOC now. He's much MUCH better about haltering - we played lots and lots of catch and release with rewards over the weekend, and he drops his nose right down now. But I'd love the three sections on feet - picking up, holding up, and standing for farrier. The "leading, running over handler while" and maybe the two ones on tying at the very end.

Thank you ever so much. :)

done deal - it may take a couple of days (I have BUSY nights the next two) but I'll get them to you!

and YAY to good Tris boys who drop their nose for the halter. Joy STILL sometimes confirms that she will get a treat before she will, and she doesn't have the mustang excuse! *silly girl*
