I wanted to thank you for your comment in equestrian. I am going to meet the guy at that barn tomorrow morning. I didn't want to start anything in that community, so I just replied here (seat, pictures, etc.). I will definitely check out Peggy Cummings. She is a little far from Seattle, but I might be able to work something out on the weekends. It is such a pain having to hold down a full time job, be able to pay the mortage and try to delevop into a top notch equestrain. If Amy Tryon can do it so can I!
also, really trust your gut on this guy -- because you ARE able to hold down the job/pay the mortgage, which means you are smart and savvy and will know for yourself if this guy is right for you!
I will, believe me. Onyx and I need to move forward in our training. She is doing great, but it never hurts to have a second set of eyes on the ground. I am also looking at another barn tomorrow. I figured he might be a good trainer. He has a really impressive resume even though he in not a competitor. He has written tons of books and articles too. I also like that it seems he has a good personality and sense of fun. Stuffy dressage barns are not for me. I only wish I could win the lottery. I could then afford a fancy barn and trainer of my own. Right now it has to be under $500 a month for lessons and board. A girl has got to eat.
Thank You!
