My dear friend D needs a copy for a breed group she is working with, and is looking for a used copy (it can be the old edition ;). And I know that SOME of you have horse libraries like mine ;).

yes, I know. and no, we haven't talked about it ;).

A dear dear DEAR friend who has done AMAZING things for me and my horse has done extensive work with and for Sarah, and I have done work with the local Tteam people -- in fact, with Linda Tellington Jone's sister, Robyn. I haven't bought Sarah's new book yet, but tis on the list - I read excerpts in the tteam newsletter, and it's great stuff.

Ah, very cool. I found out at a party when he was telling the host's girlfriend's mother about it. She was so interested in it. Then she grabbed her daughter and made him tell her the whole thing. The daughter totally didn' care, Tony knew it, but the mom was oblivious and made him tell the whole story again anyway. The three of us were practically rolling our eyes at each other and the mom just sat there hanging on every word. It was both funny and sad.

But it's really cool what Sarah does. :)

it is REALLY cool. What they BOTH do, actually, because they have used the fact that Tony is a public figure to increase awareness about tteam, and about humane approaches to working with animals, and to raise money and awareness to rescue equines, donkeys etc who otherwise would face fairly nasty fates.

Does your friend want the book, or would your friend like to be tutored in how to understand equine color genetics? I'm a color breed hobbiest myself, and I've actually helped some friends predict the color of their foals. (For the record, I don't care HOW many black or palomino horses those two chestnuts have in the pedigree...if you breed them together, you won't get a black OR a palomino ;) )
