My sister sent us a CD of pics and video clips (including the little seen, but critically acclaimed Blair Ram Project. ;)) Included on the CD were two LOVELY pics of JJ from the day of her first ever bath last spring. She is about a year old in the pics.



why do I need a bath? I don't need a bath! Aunite Raithen needs the bath. She is FILTHY. LOOK at those breeches!




Hmm. Maybe this bath thing isn't so bad. Look how pretty I am!

I think Denali was only a handful of days old when she got her first bath :P muggy 60 F out and a foal who runs around for an hour until dripping sweat? I didn't PLAN on it, but an introduction to the hose was necessary.

JJ's latest trick is squealing - she is working her way up the herd hierarchy. AS best we canm tell, she has pretty much outmaneouvered her uncle (20 year old gelding, low man on totem pole) and mother (next in the herd heirarchy). SO far she still respects Joy and SHaughns - I fear the day she challenges them....
