Talon and Houdini met Sandy. Talon didn't leave the back corner of the bedroom the entire time she was at the house. They really, really, REALLY just don't like other animals. The sucks.
That's ok, of late Mlle. Mew has taken to REFUSING TO GET OFF MY HOOD when I want to go to aikido. I get home from work, and she takes up residence on the warmth. I go out an hour or so later to leave, and she looks at me. I start the car, she looks at me with the "you are rude and insensitive" look, but DOES NOT MOVE. I get out of my car, pick her up and she looks at me and gives a VERY irritated MEOW! before I put her down and she stalks off....
CATS, I tell you! ;)
Mind you, when I was in Arizona, Mom was looking for Mewie one night in the barn. It was VERRRA cold (-20) and Mom looks up on the hay piles. There lies Indy, with Miss Mew TUCKED IN between her front paws for warmth. So. Sweet.
I'm 5'2" and her back come up past my knees. When she stand on her hind legs, with her forepaws on the fence, she looks me easily in the eye, no stretching invovled. IN fact, at FULL stand up height, she would look OVER my eyes, probably.
