The only thing Portia's ever chewed up is the cover of my beloved and battered paperback of Pride and Prejudice. I can't decided if that makes her excessively lowbrow (since she chewed Austen) or excessively highbrow (since she's *only* chewed Austen).

SOOOO comfy. The only saving grace (and it is indeed a SMALL one) is that they were a number of years old and perfectly broken in *sob*....
